Inspection Ports for Bulk Material Handling Equipment
Bulk material handling equipment such as screw conveyors and screw feeders require frequent inspection of internal components for sustained high performance. KWS offers inspection ports for easy visual access without risk of injury to plant personnel.
Inspection ports can be located anywhere along the length of the equipment and are typically located downstream of inlets, before or after hanger bearings, and above discharge spouts. Observation of bulk material flow after inlets and at discharge locations ensures smooth and trouble-free operation.
All KWS inspection ports come standard with a weld-in, OSHA-approved safety screen for personnel protection. Inspection ports can be bolted on all four sides, hinged and bolted, or hinged and clamped depending on preference and plant safety standards. Optional safety switches or mechanical locking mechanisms for enhanced safety features are also available.
Features
Wide Variety of Materials – KWS inspection ports may be constructed out of carbon steel, stainless steel, or special alloys to match equipment construction.
